Guided Boundary Waters 5-Day Voyageur Paddle
Trace a historical voyageur route with one of our top guides for a relaxing adventure in the Boundary Waters BWCA with plenty of time to explore, fish, swim, and develop new or improve existing canoe/camping skills.
Canoe country was explored by the early Voyageurs, or "travelers" who operated the canoes of those who were the fur traders in this bygone era. These French/Canadian Voyageurs were a hearty lot and the legends of their travels and exploration are a huge part of the history of the North Country.
You will not work as hard as the Voyageurs did. That's a promise! There will be plenty of time to linger to discover the beauty and solitude of the area and its superb fishing. Bring your rod and reel if you want to try your hand at fishing, and be prepared with camera to "catch" a photo of the abundant wildlife.
Guided 5-Day, 4-Night Voyageur Paddle
The 5-Day Paddle is the most popular length of time to be out in the wilderness with your experienced guide.

Trip Start Dates: Each Monday of June, July, and August.
Nonrefundable Deposit: $250/person
Rates are per person and subject to change. Must have a minimum of 2 persons, and maximum of 8 persons for this trip.
Included in the Guided 5-Day Voyageur Package:
- 5 Day complete outfitting with the Comfort Plus Package, Kevlar canoes, all equipment, and tasty food
- Breakfast on the morning of the start of the canoe trip in the beautiful Wildwood Lodge at River Point
- Showers before and after the trip
- Guide's Expertise
US Permit, US User Fees, taxes, fishing licenses, bait & tackle, if you will fish, bunkhouse or Chalet lodging at River Point the night prior to the canoe trip, small van transport gas surcharge, and guide gratuity are additional. Please Note: Pets are not allowed on guided canoe trips.
You may want to rent one of River Point Resort's new Chalets both before and after the Boundary Waters guided canoe trip adventure. Beautiful, log-furnished, designer inspired "Up North" lodging with queen or twin beds, full kitchens with dishwasher, gas fireplace in the living room, private deck with gas grill and scenic lake view!
If you would like a 3-day guided "Voyageur Canoe Trip, any Monday in June, July or August would be the start date. Just need to secure the USFS permit for that date.

Same inclusions as the 5-day package. "Start" date (first day on the water) would be any Monday in June, July, or August.
$675 per person for a group with 2-4 persons; $605 per person with a group of 5-7 persons
Nonrefundable Deposit: $250/person
Guided Boundary Waters trips are the perfect option for those who want some guidance with the trip, especially "first timers" or families with smaller children. It's great to have help on the portages, when reading the maps and compass, and just to learn more about the great outdoors.
